2011 INTERSERVICE NORDIC SKIING AND BIATHLON CHAMPIONSHIPS
HOW TO NOMINATE TO ATTEND
Invitation
The Navy Nordic Skiing and Biathlon Association (NNSBA) will train a Navy Biathlon Team at Mt Hotham, Victoria during the period 31Jul-06Aug11. The 2011 Interservice Cross Country Skiing and Biathlon Championships will be conducted during 07-12Aug11.
Nominees should have a high level of aerobic fitness and be prepared to have fun on this physically rewarding activity. NNSBA is allocated limited funding from Navy Sports Council; so attendee’s are required to contribute financially to attend this activity.
Attendees will be required to contribute $600 towards accommodation and activity expenses ($300 for one week attendance). A non-refundable deposit of $100 MUST be paid by 01Jul11 and the balance of $500 (or $200 for one week participation) MUST be paid by 22Jul11, to secure a place on the activity. Funds can be transferred to Australian Defence Credit Union BSB 802-397 A/C 520690 “Navy Nordic Ski and Biathlon Association”. (Type your name in the “Description” field so NNSBA can track you payments)
Nomination:
This nomination form is to be filled out electronically and emailed to navysport.nordic@defence.gov.au ASAP so planning can be arranged for accommodation and transport. In addition, Commanding Officer approval is also required and should be submitted in accordance with Annex C to DI-N (PERS) 70-9 through your Commanding Officer for approval (form found on the second page of the nomination form).
